This policy covers the Checkedfile plugins Invoice, Quote, and Weekly, and the site checkedfile.com. Effective 5 October 2026.
In the plugin, the only data is what you type for the task: a client name, your name, hours, a rate, a scope, or weekly bullets. The plugin has no server, so Checkedfile does not receive that text.
On this site, the email field opens your mail program. If you email hello@checkedfile.com, that message contains your address and whatever you write.
Checkedfile does not collect payment card data, health information, government identifiers, passwords, API keys, or location. It does not track visits, IP addresses, or query patterns.
Chat text is used only to produce the invoice, quote, or weekly report you asked for. Email is used only to answer that email.
ChatGPT processes the chat under OpenAI's terms. Checkedfile is not a recipient of the chat. The mailbox hello@checkedfile.com is the recipient of email you send. There are no other recipients, no ads, and no sale of data.
The plugin retains nothing, because it has no database. Email is kept until the reply is sent, then deleted. This site keeps no form submissions and sets no cookie.
You choose what to type. You can delete the ChatGPT conversation in ChatGPT. You can ask hello@checkedfile.com to delete an email, and it is deleted. You can stop using the plugin by uninstalling it. There is no account to close.
